  • TGC 2019 crashing

Hi guys, I’ve finally got my sim working for about a little over a week now and I’m running into an issue with TGC 2019 crashing about every 4-6 holes. I’ve got it running on Windows 12 with an EYE XO, not sure if that matters. I’ve only gotten to play a total of maybe 36 holes so far so it’s a short sample but it does seem consistent. I’m also have a windows blue screen issue that crashes everything including the Uneekor. Any thoughts?

Seems like there is something fishy going on with your PC. Best to contact support@protee-united.com to have them remote into your computer to have a look.

Thanks for the recommendation on where to start, I’ll reach out to them.

Might be easier to comment if you give us some computer specs and OS version (earliest Windows 12 Beta is like 2 years away unless you are designing it.....)

Ahh damn, my bad, Windows 11. My computer is i7-11700 and graphics card is GeForce RTX 2060. Any other info that is helpful let me know and I'll provide.

How much RAM do you have? Assuming you are at/north of 16GB - your system should run TGC without issues. Have you done the standard things like (anti-virus scans, uninstall/re-install the program, update drivers, hardware scans, check power supply & all cable connections ......) etc.? I ask, because these are the standard things any helpdesk will ask after you spend the time on hold.

I do have 16GB. I have not performed an uninstall/re-install but I have checked everything else. Looks like that is my next step. Thanks jasonreg.

I have a skytrak and have been using TGC2019 daily without issue. I left out of town for a long weekend and the next round I played when I came back caused it to crash on first hole after hitting driving range for 20 minutes. Now it crashes at random each time. Everything else works including the skytrack software. I have uninstalled the most recent windows update however it still crashes. I have to believe something was updated that is causing the problem. I am going to try uninstalling last security update, look for any driver updates, and then try uninstalling and reinstalling. Have you been able to get it to work Timmy5under?

I appreciate that update I hope that they can identify the issue. I am going to try my luck at an uninstall/ reinstall now.

Yeah I read where a bad memory stick can cause the exact issues I'm having but I'll call CyberPower since it's a brand new computer and see what they say first.

My issue ended up being my laptop battery. I have always had it plugged in and when I removed the charger to move it turned completely off. Apparently, the GPU was drawing enough power that the plug along could not handle so it crashed. I swapped the battery and it is working. I hope you resolve your issue soon!

So I have an update and am becoming suicidal now. I contacted CyberPowerPC and they told me to reinstall everything, which I did. Same problem with TGC2019 shutting off after 2-6 holes but everything else is running, computer and EyeXO. Contacted Cyberpower again and he said he thought it may be a bad graphics card memory. Long story short after a runaround I paid $45 to have them overnight the card after they delayed for 1.5 weeks. Got the card in tonight, installed, was playing great and then it shut off after 12 holes, just like the past month. To add to the confusion, the initial computer had a dual rtx 2060 because they didn’t have the single in stock. The replacement is a standard 2060. I’ve had Protee look at it and they said it’s not their program and I’ve gotten a new license from protee and installed. Can anyone give me a sliver of hope with an idea? I’m past the 30 day return policy and if I send the computer back it’ll take at least a month I’m guessing and I’m sure they’ll tell me it’s working fine because it does when I’m not running TGC2019. Thanks
