Will be following this closely, full surround sound is the last thing I need to do and not quite sure how to do it.

The only thing I do not understand is why you need a connection from gaming PC to Projector. If you are going through your AVR you should be gtg + leaves you another (third) panel option for later on. I might be missing something though.

I was not sure if I could mirror the PC Monitor to Projector going through AVR. I plan on testing though. Anyone tried that?

Dual monitors are nice for the pc if you want to run a separate launch monitor software along side TGC2019.

Also, you may want to open a browser for a streaming services such as a cable TV app or youtube to listen to music or watch other programs. I often watch golf or other sports while playing.

You will have to tell windows which HDMI output is carrying the audio to your receiver, otherwise it will play on the projector. It's an easy item to toggle.

Did this setup work? I have similar setup.. PC, tv, monitor, projector, 4K receiver. Trying to figure out how to hook everything up so that I can send all sound through receiver + speakers. How do you toggle pc sound output with multiple displays/windows? Thx

Yes the setup works great. I feed sound and 4K video thru the receiver. I am adding another Roku tv. Plan on using with view software on my Eye Mini, then will run another hdmi to projector for movies. Currently I can do that on PC or Xbox.

When I use GSPro on PC, I am duplicating monitor to projector so sound output still is from PC. My Denon receiver handles sound from all inputs.

Hopefully that helps. Let me know if you need more help.

I’m glad this worked. I plan on a similar setup. I feel like the advantage of running Display port to projector from the PC and hdmi from reciever would let you run your sim software on the projector screen while playing a second source audio from Apple TV or streaming service. Just gives you more options.

I’m gonna have a 7.1.2 setup and will figure out some zone 2 scenarios for multiple display options.
