  • Best value option graphics card for 4k simulator

Apologies if this question has been asked a bunch of times before - I'm not a computer guy and have read all sorts of things about the best options for graphics cards. I'm setting up a 4k system with a Benq tk700STi - is it best to go for the Nvidia 4 series (either a 4070 or 4070ti) or do the 3 series options offer better value with sufficient performance? If yes, which of the 3060, 3060 ti, 3070, 3070ti or 3080 would be best? I'm looking at Costco and Newegg as best spots to get value for money and they have a wide range of options that seem to fit the bill, from about $1500 to $2k.
Any insights or advice gratefully received!

For me on certain courses, there was a big difference between the 3060ti to the 4070ti. I had a lot of stuttering on some courses with the 3060ti.

Get the best deal you can on the highest last two numbers. Yes, 4060 is better than 3060 but 3080ti will rule. I use this site to compare and I think it does a great job: UserBenchmark: Nvidia RTX 2080S (Super) vs 4060 (Laptop) You can see that my (aging) 2080Super still beats a 4060 (albeit Laptop version). Details matter!

RTX 4070 is starting to be available and seems to be pretty good value. It also has the added benefit of being a little more efficient with power.

OP, did you get this sorted out? I am just starting my computer build journey and will also be using the Benq tk700STi. Leaning toward GSpro so want something to keep up with it's constant graphics improvements.
