    PC with USB C and no HDMI - USB C Hub recommendation for 4K 60hz

    Building my 4K golf sim and have purchased my gaming computer (Lenovo Legion) and noticed that it does not have an HDMI port but instead various UBC ports including a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (20Gbps). My projector has HDMI and USB C ports and the wire running from the PC to projector is going to be 50ft or so.

    Based on my research USB C doesn't support that distance so need to go with HDMI (optical or over ethernet) via a USB C Hub.

    I am unsure if I need a specific USB C hub because of the span between my PC and projector or any USB C hub that supports 4K 60z will work. Has anyone come across this issue and have any recommendations or advice?

    That's unusual, which Legion do you have? Most with 40xx have at least one HDMI and some with several DisplayPorts.

      So there is an HDMI port. Lenovo doesn't list it in their specs but in their Q&A someone asked the same Q and there is an answer stating there is a 1x HDMI 2.1a FRL and 3x DisplayPort 1.4a ports. Mystery solved!

    I reached out to Lenovo and they couldn’t confirm and have asked me to call another department tomorrow.
