Best impact screen

Hi everyone,
I've learned a lot from all of your posts but I still have a lot more to learn. I was hoping to get some advice on an impact screen. I've looked at the traditional ones but they all seem very loud when you hit them.

My setup is usually in backyard, unless I take it somewhere. I purchased a bed sheet and that is much quieter than the tarp I started with. I've read some people are using memory foam, but more so to stop the ball. I thought about maybe a comforter or a rug? My wife mentioned bug netting, which has very small holes and would (hopefully) be able to let the projection shine through.

If you have any ideas on how to keep the noise down, I'd love to hear about it!

Hi there. A 1" mesh net to put in front of your current setup would allow projection through while being quiet but not producing the best image quality since you will see the net outline on your impact when projecting. If you want a screen that will be quiet look into the mesh impact screens. The mesh is durable and you do not need a backstop with the mesh although proper backstops will work in conjunction with just about any screen material to reduce sound and bounce back while increasing the life of the impact screen.
