Need some direction: full enclosure vs "other" options

I'm on the fence here and thought this thread would help, but it left a lot up in the air.

I have a decent sized space (20' length, 15' wide, 10' high) and can't decide on an enclosure/screen strategy. I'm about to start hitting real balls, previously just almost balls so non-issue up until now.

For the enclosure option, I think I could make it look good and do what I want, peace of mind to not destroy my room - but it seems to risk being too big/bulky. For those who have one - do you like yours or would you rather have something less intrusive? Or if you are not fully enclosed in your enclosure, what do you consider a safe distance from your ball to "the entrance" of your enclosure? I'm not a horrible golfer, but people who will end up using this might be.

For the independent screen, sides, ceiling option - I am concerned about safety - not as much on the seams as much as the flap-ability of something not securely held in place. For those who have this - does a hanging net/curtains actually stop a ball? If so how close to walls are you sides? And is a permanent ceiling net stretched tight or permanent padding on the ceiling the only way to go?

I also haven't ruled out the platinum option, which would be to frame out (with wood) an entire enclosure as close to the walls/ceiling as possible. Then line the whole thing with some sort of DIY padding (I think I can figure that out for relatively low cost) for no-stress hitting. Darken it out nicely with some black fabric/canvas all around so its like a mancave within a mancave. It could be nice. That general strategy seems less common on this forum, but if people have done it and liked it, or attempted and reconsidered - I'd love to know

I basically just want it to look good and be safe. But I'm in my head on this one and would be grateful for any clarification/insights.
