Current situation: Hitting into a Net Return with the ball placed in front of the small divider wall in picture below, hitting towards the 16ft long wall. I have to move my wife's car out and drag out the mat in order to play.
Desired Situation: I'd like to use the third bay as a "sim room" so that I don't have to do a setup every time. I'm worried I won't have enough room to swing a club without being offset to the edge of the hitting screen. I would have to have the ball pretty close to the wall to have enough room I think. I'm going to clear it out next weekend and test it. I'll also have to remove some of the garage door railings and motor as initial tests have my path hitting it.
As you can see from the diagram, I have 16ft, plus a 4 inch step-up with an additional 2ft 3in. Unfortunately, it has a 45 degree angle that messes things up (top right corner, for some reason it didn't show the angled line when I uploaded)
I'm looking at this bay from Virtual Golf Simulator but asking them to make it 105 x 105. I'd love to have it sitting on the step-up, unfortunately that 45 degree angle screws everything up (keep in mind I swing left handed).
Another option is for me to keep my current setup replacing the net return with the bay. I'd like to avoid that, but a part of me feels I'm going to really have to set things up and hit into it with various clubs to make sure I have room.
I'm also looking at getting this projector
