Need a fix!

I ordered the 10x12 microbay from all sports systems and did not upgrade to the "premium" screen. The screen does not come all the way to the ground. It leaves about 2' under the screen that is open.

90% of the time, it is not a problem. Until you blade an iron, or hit down with a driver and the ball comes flying back at you like a bullet. I have a garage build, so there are blocks behind the screen.

I tried netting, foam pads, and other makeshift padding.

Should i re-order a new screen (which will be $$$), or does anyone have a solution? Anyone else having this problem?

My screen touches and a baffle net comes out the front to catch my worm burners, but I wonder if this type mattress wedge would help you?

Virtual Golf Simulators offers two 5 feet bottom protectors. It's called protective pads and it is for $79.95. Might be something to look into instead of paying about $350 for another screen. Brock's idea above looks pretty good too!

Those are great ideas, the protective padding from golf simulators is 5" high, it says custom sizes available, but I think I'm going with the mattress wedge at 12". I'll post pictures once received.

Hopefully I won't be sending golf balls all over the room any more!

Update:. Went with something similar to the mattress wedge. Works perfectly!
