I am ordering the PR-20 for a screen/netting. It's going to be 8'x11'. I am planning on making the frame with electrical conduit. Only issue not sure of the best way to build it. Have looked at many pictures of everyone's on here but haven't found any post on best way to build one. Some wrap the screen over the front rail and bungee it to the back rail others of it just pulled between the rails. Interested and what everyone has found to work best.

I put my PR-20 on a heavy duty curtain rack. No frame. You don't want a ball ricocheting off of a frame. I simply slide the impact net back when done. It works great

That's a great idea I like that. How is the picture on it? Do you use real balls? How about bounce back?

Picture is fine. I use real balls and have very little bounce back. You don't want to have a really tight screen.

Kevin_C - did you go with the metal strut track and 4 wheel netting trolley to hold up your net? What size net did you go with? Do you use a weight at the bottom of the net to keep it in place when hitting or is it just free floating. Thanks for your feedback!

I use 1" EMT and it's shaped like an upside down U. Screen is attached on top and sides with tarp clips and adjustable bungee cords, nothing on the bottom. Works well for me.

wbond - how much space do you have between the side emt and your screen? Do you need to cover the emt with padding to prevent balls flying back at you - in case the errant shot happens? Did you go with the PR-20 netting also and did you have to use a backing behind this? Appreciate the feedback?

I have about 4-6" i think from the edge of the screen to the EMT. My frame is about 11' w x 10' H. Here is a pic showing how screen was attached and then I added some trim to cover it up. I don't have anything on the EMT itself, it has been thoroughly shank tested and i haven't even come close to the side EMT. For the top, I have created a baffle out of harbor freight black mesh tarp. It has prevented anything from hitting the top crossbar and catching flop shots. If you look closely you can see a piece of PR20 behind the impact screen. It was from my original smaller setup. The screen in this picture was the supertex. I have since gone to the original one offered here direct from the mill. I now have this new screen, backed by supertex screen and backed by a net.

Hey wbond, what are your black trim/edges made of? Did you make those or custom order? Also, how to they connect to your frame?

It's just a black vinyl runner from Home Depot. I think it's 24" wide that I cut into 8" strips. Very cheap but really makes a difference in the look. It's attached using zip ties to the emt.
