What am I missing?

Been lurking for awhile here, but I've decided to pull the trigger and build my own simulator. I've already ordered pretty much everything needed, but I'm worried I haven't put enough thought into this so I'm hoping someone can point where I might have some issues.

I'm putting the simulator in a finished building in my backyard, complete with A/C. The room is only 8ft high, which is enough to swing my irons, but not my driver. Fortunately enough, there's an entrance to the attic in the form of a board which I can pop out when I'm playing and my back swing will go into the attic. I may end up lengthening the cutout to give a little more room, but I'll wait to see how it goes first.

Budget is a concern so I went with the Optishot. with the ceiling height concern, I won't be standing on a platform just yet, probably later once I get the setup complete and comfortable swinging into the attic.

I ordered the projector screen from Carl's premium through Amazon. Finished border. It's 10' wide, 7'9" tall, So top to bottom, it's going to take up the whole wall. I'm going to construct the frame with 1" EMT piping. The frame is also going to come forward 5ft on either side and up top. I ordered a custom net from West Coast Netting to go up the side, over the top, and down the other side. I hate this part because I feel like it takes away from the overall aesthetics, but I'm concerned about damaging the walls and ceiling given my lack of golf skills.

I'm going to be about 9'5" back from the screen, I'm sort of locked into that distance given the issue of the low ceiling and the location of the attic entrance, but I think that's adequate. I ordered the Optoma GT1080P short throw as suggested by many on this site, my plan is to mount it on the ceiling either directly over the ball or slightly to the right as to be further away from my back swing. The location of the projector is probably my biggest concern, I feel like its going to be right by my head. I'd like it to be behind me a bit, but not sure with the short throw, the distance that will work the best. Perhaps I can pull the screen closer. How close do most people stand? I think I've read 10ft is ideal, but some simulations seem much closer.

I think all that's left to figure out is the best, most cost effective way to black out the windows and get a florescent light to hang over the ball.

I am standing about 7 feet from the screen on my current setup. My projector is older and not a short-throw, and it sits behind me on a milk crate.

Since you have a dedicated building for your setup, have you considered cutting into the floor and placing your sensor pad in the floor? Could be the difference between drywall dandruff and lots of drywall dandruff.

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have purchased a short-throw after all. I can always try it out when it arrives next week and return it if its not right.

The building is actually much larger than the simulator. I think about 16ft by 28ft. My setup will take up 10ft of the length, and the whole width. So about 1/3rd of the building. The building is carpeted, and I haven't checked yet, but I'm almost certain its concrete under the carpet. I hesitate to pull up the carpet since it was brand new when I bought the house a year ago. I could cut it along where the simulator will be and put in some turf.

I'd really like to move the simulator so that its centered on the 28ft wall, because I'm sort of hitting in a cramped corner, but that ceiling height is a real killer. I'd have to cut into the ceiling in a new spot, and I'll probably have to move the beams up higher and I'm no builder.
