  • One car garage simulator

Firstly, I just want to say that this place is amazing and after a few days of reading, I am much more confident I can build my own golf simulator so I can get a few rounds in during the lovely Canadian winters.

My question is, my garage is only 9 ft wide, will that be enough space? It 9'8" high and plenty long enough, I am concerned that it won't be wide enough. I am planning on getting a SkyTrak system. I am right-handed as are all my friends who might play.

    Thanks in advance!

I am 13 feet wide and have a table with a computer on it that's about 3 feet. You might be close and offset, but you can make it work.

go ahead and take a swing in your area and see if it hits anything. If your swing has the room then you can fit your sim. I am not sure how much the software in TGC or other software will let you offset it. I think (and could be wrong) that there are guys playing in 10 foot wide spaces. I had thought it was fairly common.

Cheers! Offsetting is a good idea. Thanks.
