Expensive net vs cheap net

Wondering if it's worth it to pony up the dough for one of these nets in the $500-$1000+ range vs a cheap one. Anyone have experience with both?

My setup is outdoors, so I really don't need anything fancy -- like an impact screen to project on.

Just wondering if the quality is really something I should be concerned about. Like if with the cheap one I'll put a hole in the net after a few weeks use.

If it's for the long haul... then spend a few bucks more on a better one up front or you'll be replacing it sooner than you think.

If you are only using a net, then yes get a better one. If not, you will blow threw it quicker. If you end up using an impact screen, a cheaper one would be fine.

Outdoors is a bigger concern since UV is going to kill a net faster than anything. You need a "fancier" net because your setup is outdoors. Conditions are worse all the way around compared to an indoor setup.

If you go with a cheaper net , make sure to be ready to replace often.

Where would you purchase a high quality net?

West coast netting would be a good start. I see netting as the final line of defence before something breaks and so see it as critical.

It is pretty tough but again not sure if it is impregnated with a UV inhibitor or not. Some nets have a UV coating that wears away, others have the UV inhibitor "baked" in, some have nothing. Not an expert in the hows just realize that there is a difference.
