Recommendation on curtains

I am just about to actually put my build together and decided that I wanted to go with heavy duty curtains as to not only knock down errant shots but to block light coming into the garage. I am looking for recommendations of curtains that will knock down shots immediately. I have small kids that will undoubtedly hit a hosel shot once every 10 shots and would like something that I know will knock it down without much effort.

I used the grommet top, lined blackout curtains from JC Penny, with nets behind them on the sides and the screen in front of them in front. The curtain/net combo, knock everything down... Very small rebounds on the hardest of shots.

I’ve got the Par2Pro HQ drapes.
They’re double lined, and have weights in the bottom. You could fire a ball directly at them, and they’d barely move. Solid black material too, so no light passing through.

Expensive, but you can see where the money went when you see them in real life!

So much to choose from...do you have a recommendation? What did you purchase? It looks like you have something that would be roughly 8-9 ft high, which is what I am looking for in width.

You're setup looks good mikejuly . It's nice to see another lefty. Sometimes I wish I played golf right handed so I could watch instructional videos without having to flip the words and video.

I too would like to know what MikeJuly ordered from ChicagoCanvas. They were having a sale so I went ahead and ordered Black Commando Cloth Curtains that are 9ft10in x 12ft. I found a table on the website that compared all their models across categories such as weight, price, heavy-duty, blackout, etc. This model seemed to make the most sense.

I'm going to mount it on 6ft of curtaintrack. Still not sure how many grommet holes will come on them or if the width is ideal for 6ft with some 'natural fold' as customer service calls it. Will give an update when I receive it and get it up.

Thanks for the kind remarks... sorry for the late reply to your questions.

Couple things:

The sides are their 'Commando Cloth' product. The product was 9'10" x 15'. I had them altered to have a loop at the top, which shortened the height by 6".

The curtains needed to be 10 feet tall to reach the floor...so I attached a piece of fabric at the bottom of each so they'd reach the floor (explained below).

I installed them by running some 1" aluminum conduit through the loop (I made a 15' piece by combining a 10' and 5' piece with a 'two-way connector' from this company: http://www.canopiesandtarps.com/fffcbcc.html)

In my office where my simulator is, there are two I-beams that run the length of the room that are exactly 15' apart... the conduit simply is wedged between those beams on each side of the screen.

For the top, I bought a 20'x20' black drop cloth from Chicago Canvas. I basically draped it across the entire enclosure (approx 15' x 18'). I had the drop cloth altered to include a loop on one side and trimmed to fit the space... and used the cutoffs to fill the gaps on the sides mentioned above. I attached the drop cloth by inserting another 15' conduit piece though the loop and placing it between the I-beams (next to one of the other conduit rods) and draping the cloth over the entire enclosure... attaching the other 3 sides of the drop cloth to the steel I-beams with strong magnets and spring clamps.

I don't really have pictures of that part - but if my description isn't clear post your questions here and I'll try to answer them better.

I don't recall how much the 20'x20' was - I think it was around $150-$200.
