  • My par2Pro SQ screen review

I received the screen and the high-impact black mesh today. Both were cut to 12 foot by 8 foot.

I am blown away by the quality of this screen. My previous setup was a Netreturn Pro, with various impact screens for it. You just cant get a flat screen with the NetReturn frame. So my experience with screens is limited. I cannot believe how good a truly flat image looks!

It is very quiet, compared to other screens I have used.

Picture quality is very good. Nice and bright, its a tightly woven fabric so no screen-door effect.

Bounce-back is not an issue for me. The ball lands probably 6 inches in front of the screen.

After hitting a few dozen shots into the screen, I cannot see any wear marks. Durability is probably the most important factor for me. I went through NetReturn screens every 6 months or so, and I hoping this SQ lasts a couple years. I got the mesh backstop to try and help with that, hopefully it works.

I will post some videos later tonight to show the sound and bounce back.

That is great to hear. Are those zip ties or bungies? Image looks great. I hope to have a new screen soon.

9" ball bungees for the screen. The zip-ties are used for the mesh netting that is directly behind the screen.

I used a steamer to try and get the creases out, did an OK job but not perfect. I think a few days of hanging will straighten it out. Steamer got 75% of them.

Forgive the out of focus part..amateur camera operator.

Watching video, I noticed that there is some "puddling" where the ball hits the screen. It looks worse on video than in real life, and each new strike seems to erase the previous impact point.

            Great job Shardak!
If you want to reduce the bounce back, just put a padded flooring down - but it looks like it is almost just the right amount so that you don't have to walk all the way to the screen to get the ball

Thank you for the awesome review and Happy Golfing!

              Update.

My screen had what I first thought to be 2 creases running from top to bottom about a foot apart. I steamed the entire screen, and most of the wrinkles and creases came out except these 2.

I figured that it would maybe fade with time. But it did not. I steamed it a second time, but it didnt help. It appeared like a crease, but the fabric in between the crease marks looked slightly darker than the rest of the screen.

I sent some pics and video to Cory at Par2Pro, and he exchanged the screen for a new one.

The new one has arrived and it looks great.

I will for sure be purchasing from Par2Pro in the future. Top notch customer service.
