Canopy fitting size

I know this isn't a hard questions, but I needed to make sure....

If I have a 1" conduit from lowes, it says OD is 1", do I get the 3/4" clamps from a-1 tarps like these? https://www.a1tarps.com/ff3acc.html

1" conduit is usually the inner diameter. Its like 1.2 OD.

If you buy 1" EMT, buy 1" fittings.
