Impact screen question

So I am going to be building an EMT frame. My garage is 3m wide and 4.5 metres high. What would the optimal screen size be for this space? 3m x 3m or 3m x 2.5m etc...

id definitely squeeze as much as you can with the width... 3m / 10ft.... you can adjust ratio on the projector to suit.

Yea 3m is as wide as I can go. I have loads of height so what is the best height? 3m? 4m? Etc...

It will depend on the projector ratio you use. Common ratios are:

• 4:3 - if you have 3m width would be 2.25m high
• 16:9 - if you have 3m width would be 1.69m high
• 16:10 - if you have 3m width would be 1.88m high

If you are not sure what ratio you will use, and have unlimiited height, I would build to 2.25m high and then you can block off the unused amount at the top with a curtain if you switch to one of the widescreen ratios
