  • PAR2PRO SQ Screen review

So I ordered the Par2Pro SQ Custom screen and I've had it setup for about 3 weeks. First off, Cory and Denise were awesome to work with. They were very helpful from start to finish. Initially I wasn't sure how to mount the screen but worked with Cory on solutions for this and he sent me a detailed drawing of my particular setup and the best way to do it. First impressions of the screen were that I was surprised how thick and dense it was, at least much more than I expected it to be. I used grommets, bungees, and zip ties for the hanging along with an angle iron frame.
Once it was setup I was really amazed how quiet it is. Whether hitting a driver or wedge, the sound of the club and ball or many more times than that of the ball even hitting the screen. The bounce back is perfect also. I've probably hit at 600-100 balls into the screen and it's still looks like in perfect shape. I can't see any indications or spots where the ball has been hitting.
I have a buddy that has the Carl's Premium and comparing the SQ to the Carl's I'm very pleased with my decision to go with the SQ. The bounce back is similar in our setups. The sound is much more quiet. The pictures I think are very similar, but unless I saw them side to side I couldn't even say which one is better. I am happy with the quality of the picture as well. . I have been very particular on using clean clubs and balls and have avoided using high spinning ProVs and such. Thank you much PAR2PRO for your help, I would highly recommend the screen and I think it will last quite some time. Side note: I am on the list for the Mill screen as a backup, it might be a while before I even need to set that up as I think the SQ will be very durable (time will tell). My sim is about 80% complete and when finished I'll put a more detailed description of everything along with a video or two on the forum.

I’m dealing with Cory daily on my setup options. Thx for the screen review. I’m going to mount this on a retractable sportscreen mount.

I have mine on a retractable sport screen. I think the screen is great very low bounce back and noise.

For those of you that have installed this on a retractable mount do you happen to have any pictures? Is it to allow use of the wall behind as a projection screen?

I am using the BenQ HT2150ST. Very pleased with it. The setup is also very easy. The projector will essentially walk you through the setup. It is low lumens however it seems plenty bright to me.

Quick update while on the forum. Regarding the durability of the screen, My kids and I, along with many others have hit many thousands of balls into the screen. The screen is showing no signs of wear on the fabric. I will say where the ball is hitting there are some slightly darker spots, however the fabric isn't fraying or doesn't seem to wearing at all. The darker spots are noticeable if I have the lights on in the garage and look at the screen, but when I have the projector on with either the Skytrak app or JNPG I don't even notice them.
