Question about height of projector screen/enclosure

I have a nice area in my basement that is 15 feet wide by 9.5 feet high. Depth is 20 feet. However, the ceiling drops a foot to 8.5 for about a third of the ceiling. This doesn’t affect my swing at all, but it would affect the height of my screen. If I get a 9 foot tall screen I can only use the left two thirds of my space. I don’t know if I will start getting close to the edge and have to worry about offset. If I get an 8 foot tall screen then I can put it in middle and have no issues about offset.

Is there much much downside to an 8 foot as opposed to 9 foot tall screen/enclosure? Thx

Just go with the screen up to the height of the bulkhead. It'll be fine that way. Still tons of screen.
