    Sim build help

Currently in an unfinished basement sim set up with 9’ ceilings and about 16’ across and near limitless depth.

    I’m currently using:
    Skytrak
    Rukket Haack Pro net
All Turf Mats - Ultimate Super Tee 5x5
Non HD flat panel TV on a cart linked to mid range gaming laptop (MSI W/ GTX 940MX)
    Using E6 1.6

I’d like to go with a projector and Carl’s set up (preferred screen). The question is do I do 4:3 (8hx10.5wx5d) or 16:9 (7.7hx13wx5d)? My question is what Carl’s set up is optimal?

Suggestions please; space needed, distance to the screen (especially for wedges so they aren’t roofed before hitting the screen), budget projector ideas. I just can’t decide and there isn’t anything I found that is aiding me here on the two Carl screen . A big concern I have is hitting wedges, does the 1/2 a foot make a difference?

You’ll wanna hit from 8-10ft from screen. Screen will need to be 12-18in from any back wall. I would get the 13ft wide version but it’s odd you can’t get 13ft wide by 9-10ft. That would be ideal so you can take it from ceiling and have some excess on the floor.

I have a projector if you’re interested. I just jumped to a 4K and selling my 1yr old BenQ 2150ST. It’s one of the best short throw projectors on the market for gaming with 17ms input lag and it’s 3000 lumens. Selling for $600. They are $800 new.
