    Wavy screen, distorted image questions

Have the Homecourse drop down and the projected image is not great due to waviness issues. I’ve added bottom tension and side tension with fishing line. It still kinda sucks. Horizons, fairways and tree lines look unnatural and I’m wondering if it’s just the price you pay with homecourse and have to live with it. Maybe too tight and you get bounce back? What to do and how to best manage, thanks

I've had SIM's in 3 different houses and used 3 different screens, the most recent being very high end. The common trait between them is that this is the most frustrating part of having a SIM.
Too tight = great picture and too much bounce back
Too loose = little bounce back and crappy picture
I've found that it's a constant struggle and to make your enclosure as adjustable as possible. Bungees wear out as does the screen over time and require regular re-tensioning (sp) of the screen. Personally I hate bounce back so I have mine a little loose.

Thanks, that’s what I was afraid of. In retrospect, the marketing pics and video are quite misleading, almost like food marketing. It’s also clear why they don’t show the projector in most pics and videos cause to fill a screen the way they show it has to be twice as far back as suggested in written marketing. So how best to manage the screen?
      thanks
