Still working on the construction aspects of what will eventually be my sim, but I’m constantly trying to shop for finishings and plan interior. Is there anyone on here who uses a net in front of their screen to protect the screen? How does it work? Pro’s or con’s? I saw this set up on the golf channels sim screen. It seemed pretty good, but I’m guessing they have some type of rear projector set up...

User preference.
For me, the more immersive it feels the more it tricks the brain that your really at a course / range.
if your looking at a grid in front it might detract from the immersive feeling, if you do go the route at least try get a white one.

The golf channel users rear projection. A net in front of a front projection setup looks terrible. It's not just the color of the netting but the shadows it makes. I put up a net just to see what it looked like...that was a short lived experiment! A lot of downside just to save on wear.
