Can someone help me understand the best way to attach an impact screen to the Sportscreen? Is there a specific velcro you would use? Sew on or iron on? I read someone added their Supertex screen then another impact screen and that worked fine? I have the 16' Sportscreen, a 17' x 10' direct from the mill screen and an old Supertex screen that is maybe 12'x10'. Any tips, pictures, or links to products would be greatly appreciated.

I am literally in the EXACT same boat. Same dimensions for screens and same screens. I was planning on having some velcro sewed onto my direct from the mill screen, but would like to avoid it if there is another possible solution. Was hoping industrial strength adhesive velcro would be effect enough as I have some laying around that would suffice, but would love to hear if others are sewing the velcro to the screen and attaching it that way or what the most effect way to attach the impact screen is.

I have the Par2Pro ‘stealth’ screen, which is essentially a SportScreen and an SQHQ screen sold as a package.
The SportScreen black mesh type material attaches to the roller as per usual by Velcro.
In my case (2.85m high ceiling with the roller attached to a block of wood) I have a fair bit of the material on the floor if I unroll the whole thing.
There is a 2” “loop” Velcro strip sewed onto the SportScreen backing probably about 1 - 1 1/2 feet from the top. This is to ensure that the SportScreen backing is at least once round the roller to hold it in place.
My SQHQ screen has the “hook” Velcro on it at the top, and attaches to the SportScreen backing.
The SQHQ screen is long enough to also do a full rotation of the roller so that it’s held in place properly... and when the SportScreen is just touching the ground, I have about 1/2” of the SQHQ on the ground.
The metal bar from the SportScreen is to be put aside and not used... and the fibreglass rod that’s meant to go in the middle goes in the bottom instead. Much less dangerous to hit with a golf ball!
The SportScreen backing has “loop” Velcro sewed into the bottom corners, and the screen attaches to this.
My screen has an eyelet in either bottom corner, at about 2” up the screen. These are bungeed to the floor.
I’ll be posting a build thread at some point in the near future which explains what I’ve done and has photos.

When I purchased the sportscreen, I got them add a second Velcro strip on the roller and then had a strip of Velcro sewn onto the impact screen.
sportscreen attached to one Velcro strip on the roller and the impact screen is attached to the second Velcro strip on the roller

I got the supertex and golf mill screen attached through a lot of swearing.
My sports screen is attached under my garage door railings so it is only 8.5 feet high. Because the impact screens are wrapped multiple times around the aluminum tube at that height I didn't use Velcro or adhesive. Just had my wife and I held the screens in place manually for the first few rotation as the sports screen rolled up. It took a lot of tries to get it right. My courses:
