    protee barn setup

I am planning on building a 15x16 space in my barn using 1" emt conduit and canopy fittings for the corners (I will have room for seating and bags farther back). What should I use to cover the structure to black out the barn lights? I am looking for something relatively inexpensive and my only idea right now is using cheap silver/black economy tarps. Also, should I spend the extra money on conduit and make my height 12ft instead of 10ft?

Go with black non reflective tarp. 10ft height should be fine. You seating area will be outside of the 15X16 area?

Yes it will, my barn is a finished 40x48 with 16 foot ceilings so I have plenty of room but it doubles as a halfcourt bball area and entertainment area when have family over for xmas, etc. I plan on having the protee area 15' long and a couch or some seating 3 to 5 ft farther back than that. If I make the permanent structure any longer than that it will infringe on bball area.

Are you able to source 12 foot conduit, I was only able to find 10 foot and note that it was more than enough.

I would have to cut down 20 footers.
