New to Forum and SIM Golf

To give some background, I recently purchased a SkyTrak. Put up some tarps/drop cloths to test out and it is a bit too loud in an unfinished basement, wife wasn’t too pleased . Looking for something that won’t wake the baby!

i went to a local XGolf and realized screens are loud in general. I’ll be building some type of dedicated room when I finish my basement, if I use SkyTrak regularly.

I initially purchased an Optishot and quickly (one week) learned it wasn’t for me. I discovered this forum and realized most upgrade within a year or two, so I bit the bullet and went with ST.

I built a platform for the JagmanJoe turf for Optishot. Works well, but now converting to CCE insert. I used it with a 46” TV off to the side.

Hoping to pickup TGC in the future, we’ll see how this all pans out.

If if anyone as any other suggestions for a startup setup using ST and Net Return plus, I’m all ears.

I have same setup you r planning. Net return pro with side nets, skytrak/TGC and a 48" tv for viewing. If u need quiet, net return is the best u can do. Any screen will give extra thump than a net. I put painters tarp and sheet on my net return to test, much louder. Club noise u cannot eliminate. Heavily insulate ceiling in basement Is about the only option

Yes I agree with the above post outside of the actual club hitting the ball the net return is quiet, virtually no noise at all with the ball impacting the net.
