I have a screen from Spectrum Golf. Great screen. I just hung it from the ceiling and let it drop onto the floor. Created some waves in the screen so I’m going to put some weight on the bottom. I have read to use 3/4 inch net pipe with 1 inch insulation. Anybody try this? Want to know if anybody had a better idea to any weight to the bottom of the screen. Also wanted to hear the result if you hit the bottom pipe. For example, how much kick back of the golf ball back into the room. Thanks for the help.

Here is my screen I used a 1 1/2" nylon webbed tube and filled it with sand sewed the two end closed then sewed a pocket in the bottom of the screen to put it in, I haven't had any balls bounce back off of it. If you can not find the nylon webbed tubing you can use 1 1/2" fire hose.1 Photo

Duggie The black surrounding my screen is just heavy black nylon fabric with black netting over that, and yes I have bungee cords on the sides I clipped the screen every foot and then staggered the mounts six inches on the wall and put them every foot to get a zig zag run with the cord, which you can buy a roll of at Menards. I used the Par2Pro SQ screen and then I bought a "IMPERFECT SQ-RAW Impact Projection Screen" and hung it two inches behind the main screen (with no side clips or bottom weight) to help deaden the ball flight. The way I have it setup the balls impact the screen bounce back a bit hit the floor and roll back to the hitting area or at lest close to it.1 Photo

glockguy56 Little hard to see in picture but I built a shelf out from the wall just a little over a foot, and then I mounted tarp clips on it to hang the screen from, I have netting in front of the shelf.1 Photo
