To net, or not to net....

I’ve decided to reclaim a couple feet of space and replace my NetReturn setup with an impact screen 8-12” from the wall. I’ve ordered the fabric from Daniel “direct”, and purchased a 3” King Size memory foam. It will be 8’W x 8’ or 10’H (right side has a sloping ceiling)

There are examples of both here: hung with a net between foam & screen; and those hung without the net.

Would anybody care to offer pros/cons either way? (Other than added cost and complexity)

Nevermind....67 pages worth of reading, and the archery net is a no-brainer IMO.
