I've dealt with a similar problem for my screen attached to EMT with ball bungees. There is a tradeoff you are going to have to find a sweet spot for..and that is flatness of the screen vs. bounceback of the ball coming off the screen.

It looks like the top of your screen isn't quite tall enough for gravity to let it hang down completely.. are you able to raise it up a bit? I raised mine up but then dealt with the ball bouncing back at me too forcefully because it was stretched too tight. The solution for me was to remove several ball bungees from the top and bottom of the screen around the impact location. I have a few slight creases but it isn't noticeable when the projector is on.

I sewed a pocket into the bottom of my screen then filled a 1 1/2" nylon tube with sand and inserted it into the pocket, works great for me. The sides of the screen are attached with a 1/4" bungee cord with just a small amount of tension.

When I first got my screen there were a bunch of wrinkles in it from being folded during shipping. I used my wife clothes steamer (for, oddly enough, removing wrinkles) and it worked great! I'll try it again this afternoon, I've developed some more wrinkles over the last year, see if those will steam out ....
