16:10 screen ratio?

Ok I’m ready to start ordering every thing I need. I’ve decided I’m a nice comp, Fiberbuilt hitting mat, skytrak, but I’m haveing problems deciding on a screen and size. In my basement I have 8’7” ceilings and the wall is 14’6”. So was looking at Carl’s and they have 16:10 screens and enclosures. 8’6”x13’.
So that leaves me with 2 questions will that enclose fit and is a good 16:10 short throw projector out there? Is anyone using a 16:10 ratio in there set up? If I can’t find what I need then probably going to go with the sports screen.

Hi Jeff!

I am intrigued on the 8'7" ceiling height you noted. I have a 9'2" floor to ceiling height in a space I am wanting to use for a Sim room, but my Epic Flash driver, just slow mo swinging, occasionally contacts the ceiling to and fro. Is your measurement with a mat in place? If so, what is the height of the mat?

BTW, I am 5'11" tall, with non atavistic arms...sleeve 35"

I’m 6’2” so o rolled up a rug we had down there till it was about 1 1/2”. I was swinging my driver just fine. Was it close yeah but it should work. What is the height of a Fiberbuilt?
