Please help. I've finally narrowed down my projector and would like to order a screen tomorrow (Tuesday too). π I saw Par2Pro has 'imperfect' screens at my gamble that could work, on eBay someone called golfsimulators has a supertex screen, then somewhere else I saw "pro-screen". Ugh I hope to keep it about 6" from the wall and have a decent contrast. Thanks in advance and all good advisors are invited over for a round or 2 if you're ever in central Pa. π

SuperTex screen is not a good choice. Itβs really a textured tarp, IMO. Loud, not very flexible, and lots of ball βclimbingβ. I had the NetReturn version, and it was one of the reasons I ditched that set up and built EMT.
The direct mill screen was night and day. Worth the wait, although frustrating.

The Par2Pro SQ imperfect is a good way to go. For $100, you wonβt be able to beat that price. If they have the size you want, get it. Worst case is itβll serve as an extra backstop.
I bought one and it had a really small area thatβs not pristine but itβs near the far side and I have it facing the wall. Honestly you canβt tell that itβs not a perfect SQ screen.
Keep in mind for raw, youβll want to hem/finish at least 3 of the edges.
Can post a pic if needed.

wbond... Aha!! I sent you a message yesterday asking how the tarp clips are holding up after a couple years. I think I have my answer, still doing well after prolonged use? My (admittedly cheapo) screen is knocking on heaven's door... looking at dbgolf, hope he hasn't grown tired of dealing with all the people lining up for the direct from mill.
Cheers, buntaro

Thank all of you guys. I ended up going with a Par2pro 'imperfect raw' SQ material. They encouraged me that 'most of the time it's jiust a small snag, dirty mark on just one side...etc. High hopes here as always. I will report back and thank you all...for your time.
