  • How the @$&* are you guys attaching your enclosure to the top of your screen..?!?

So, this is where she's sleeping for tonight.

I have been wondering about this in the background since I first ran through my sim build in my head. I have read almost every post on here about it, and I'm definitely stuck on this one. All advice would be greatly appreciated...and please send pics.

I have a cable started at the top left corner to run across and somehow attach the trampoline safety netting to the cable without slack..? But then, with the tensioning hardware I have on the cable, it won't be flush across and keep balls from shooting off behind it. I have thought of covering it with pipe wrap...but then balls might ricochet back. On that same note, I'm afraid to use emt. I'm not about to use zipties through my screen. It's too nice so far...thank you Par2Pro

Wth can I do to attach it without gaps or the fear of ricochet?

Again, ty in advance if you have something that works for you and could please share.

On a side note, I would still like to finish the perimeter with black trunk carpeting to make it look good or whatever you would recommend. I have a lot of 2" industrial velcro ready to go.

I used parachute cord and ropes to anchor everything around my screen. Sewed a hem in the fabric to run the cord through and anchored the ends to the walls, floor, and ceiling. I did the same thing with the netting using ropes, less chance of a bounce back, just have to watch and not put to much tension on the netting, I over did mine.

DejaVu On the netting I used 1/2" nylon rope and stretched them as tight as I could almost touching the screen. Para-cord I used on the black fabric behind the netting. I get a ball that will make it's way into the netting every now and then and 90% of the time just falls back to the floor in front of the screen, but I do get those I have to fish out once in a while.

Thank you BGCurtis2nd for your advice and I went shopping today. I bought rope, border, and some other things. You may have just helped me solve my ? which nobody else chimed in on for obvious reasons. I will report back, hopefully by the end of this weekend, with good yet simple results. Apparently, sometimes we can get too complex and ahead of ourselves to see the obvious. It should/will hopefully be the go-to DIY for the top/sides of the screen connections, and thank you in advance for helping me slow my roll.
