Good afternoon all,
I recently purchased a Skytrak with the $300 off deal and am changing around my set up to accommodate it. For the last 3 years, my set up consisted of a sheet (t-shirt like material) and a fishing net from ebay. I had it set up in the middle of my garage hanging like a curtain from a pole between my garage door tracks. Due to a work bench and some other things, it was set up swinging toward the garage door (with windows). My 7 year old son has gained interest in since buying the Skytrak. I am rearranging my garage to hit toward the back and away from windows since my son sometimes misses the net. Since the net will be hanging near the back wall, I don't have as much room for impact between net and wall. This week was junk pick up and I found several couch cushions (maybe 6 inches deep) that I had planned to hang behind the net. Has anyone used these to absorb impact? Should I hang them behind the net instead of attaching them to the wall? I was thinking the space between cushions and wall would help absorb some of the impact. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
