Help w/ Screen Size

I am planning my build as I just picked up a SkyTrak off of Facebook for a fairly cheap price. I've been looking Carl's enclosures and reached out to Par2Pro about their retractable screen. I think I want to build a custom enclosure where it just holds the screens and the sides are black out curtains on retracting rails.

My question is I am attempting to double this as a theater area and in my mind would make sense to keep the screen at a 16:9 ratio. However, I have capped out at 12.5' of room where the screen is going. Should I continue pushing my plans of a 16:9 aspect ratio and getting a custom screen with 12x6.75 measurements. Or should I just go with a 4:3 setup and accept the black bars when watching movies?

Possible alternative is two screens as I just can't see a great theatre experience with the impact screen. The theatre screen could come down from the ceiling (could be manual or mechanical). Issues with one projector will be having something that can set the different aspect ratios and focus etc. Not sure if it is possible, but this would be my thinking.

Which has got me thinking maybe I should just go with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen and forget the whole theater portion.

I am a bit of a home theatre but and so I am just speaking to my preference. In terms of screen size I think most are happy with 16 by 10.

I decided to hang an impact screen the entire length and height of one wall, knowing that the theatre image would much smaller, and I would essentially have white borders.

When transitioning to movies, I will just put something to pull the screen taut.

I suggest maxing out the width for a separate 16x9 theater screen, and go with an accoustically transparent screen. Place the speakers behind the screen so you get great audio imaging and to make a clean look. You would mark and dent your screen quickly if you hit balls into it.
Make sure your projector has lens shift and preset focus and zoom so you can switch between the screens.

Also, max out your width and height of the impact screen (par2pro sportsscreen). Mount the sports screen 16"away from the theater screen. I have a sportsscreen in my garage and set it to hang a half inch off the floor. No balls can really go under, and the weight of the screen stops bounce-back on drives.

You might consider painting your HT screen on the wall behind your retractable SIM screen...
