Net in front of theater screen

Looking for some thoughts here. I already have a pre existing theater with projector and 120” screen. Looking to possibly put some sort of netting a foot in front of the screen so I wouldn’t have to move anything else around. Any thoughts or ideas on what type of netting I could use so a front projector would still look ok shining through?

I don’t think any type of net would look that great to be honest. You need something thick enough to stop the ball, so it will leave a distorted image on the theater screen. Have you thought about trying to build a retractable impact screen?

Only issue w/that would be my projector that's already mounted to the ceiling would have to be adjusted every time. Other option (which would be a pain) would be to just use the moveable Return net and place it in front.
