    Paint color behind screen

For those with impact/projector screens that let some bit of light through from behind, what's the best paint color for behind the screen (assuming 12-18 inches from screen to wall)? Reading various opinions via the google...seems like darker would work better. Appreciate any experiences.

I used archery/mesh screen in the past, which I think is the type you are referring to. I can't think that paint colour on the back wall will make the slightest difference. Having some blackout cloth behind the screen has been reported to help by some(I never did it).

I don’t think you want the light that bleeds through your screen to be reflected back to the screen as this would cause the image to likely look more washed out imo. In a home theatre room you defiantly want a dark colour and suspect this would be the same for behind the screen. Interested in others thoughts.

in my sim I have dark archery netting behind my screen.
