Pop Up Tent as Temporary Golf Cage

Anybody ever try using a pop up tent as a golf cage? I want to find one that’s easy to put up. I could easily add the net around it and a screen. I just can’t find one tall enough.

I had three of these over the years, not overly durable. But they truly are pop up tents in disguise. I had the Golf Galaxy/ Dicks SG brand.

A 10 x 10 EZ up canopy that extends to 9 feet should be okay if you’re only using irons

Maybe not as portable as what you would want, but why not build your own EMT frame and cover it with a tarp.

Setup would be maybe 30 - 45 mins depending on how complex you wanted to make it, but a simple open ended frame could be pretty easy to make. Assuming no side tarps and only a top covering setup could go pretty fast.

Could even go 16 wide x 10 high x 10 length

Wouldn't want to set it up and tear it down on a daily basis, but maybe keep it up for weekends and tear it down on Sunday evenings..
