Color of sheet/foam behind impact screen

    Hope everyone is staying healthy...

Quick question for those that have blankets, foam, sheets behind their impact screen, which color do you feel is best? Black or White? I am looking at buying some heavy duty sound absorbing "curtains" for behind the screen. Have those who have done this find that the color makes a difference?

They do have an option for a black /white curtain so I am leaning towards this so I can try out both, but want some expert advice from those already using something like this.

As always - thanks to all

My screen is not backed up against a wall, so with nothing behind it, the projector light shines right through the screen and shows the net (which is annoying to look at).

I used white and instead of curtains I bought blackout curtains because they don't let light through. They were like $30 on Amazon.

Can't really comment on black but white blackout curtains work great for me.

Beware black anything directly behind your screen, it can leave black marks all over your screen. Ruined my HQ screen from Par2Pro. If you can paint your wall black, that would be my advice. If you can’t, I would try white backing first to see if it works. Maybe something cheap at first like a bedsheet just to try it out without spending a bunch of money.
