  • Par2Pro SQ Screen Installation

Hi, I was hoping someone could give me some guidance. I am installing my 12' wide x 9' tall Par2Pro SQ screen and I have a question. I see that the installation instructions call for only 4 hooks on the top and then only two on the bottom corners. Is this correct? I was assuming I would need hooks along the sides as well as more on the top. Please let m know if the screen is designed this way or am I missing something. Any danger to installing additional hooks? Any benefits?

    Many Thanks - Jason

Hi Jason - I have the same screen and installed it with bungees all the way round three sides as you’re visualizing. I’m not sure why they would recommend only a handful of bungees. Possibly because if you have your screen very taut there is more risk of impact damage - i.e. it doesn’t have as much flex. I have mine taut so that the image looks good and I can also use it for videos and media. I would ask the guys at Par2Pro - they’re super helpful and will always give good advice

Im looking to buy this screen but now Im worried. I dont have a flat ceiling. It starts at 10 ft tall at the wall Im hitting at (where the impact screen will be) but quickly goes up to about 25 ft tall in a linear fashion. Furthermore I was going to put black heavy duty curtains on the side to stop shanks & help image quality but I also have no ceiling to affix the top of curtains too. Also no ceiling to affix projector too so was going to get a floor projector enclosure but worried it will make picture wonky. Then planned on affixing a net to the ceiling which should be doable even if a slanted ceiling.

I do NOT want an enclosure in any circumstance because my area is only 10.5 ft wide and 16 feet long to begin with.
