    Net to screen separation

I’m in the process of building a simulator for my garage. I’ve bought my 1” EMT conduit, a preferred impact screen from Carl’s Place (7.7’ x 10’), and have my skytrak ordered.

I have a couple of questions for you all who have had setups of your own for a while.

    1) I plan to wrap my enclosure with netting first for extra protection. When doing so should I have separation between the netting and the impact screen?

    2) How much space should there be between the impact screen and the frame? For example if my screen is 120” wide and my frame is 122” wide would that be acceptable?

    3) How much room should I leave between the back of my enclosure and the wall?

I appreciate any help and guidance in advance!

    1. My netting touches the screen behind it.
    2. I have 3 inches
    3. I have 8 inches thanks to the netting and memory foam mattresses

Funnily enough, my current set-up matches what mthunt has, but I do not have memory foam mattresses. My netting behind my screen is archery netting, which is very heavy.
