  • Looking for Plans to Build Mobile Enclosure

I apologize for this repeated post but originally put in the wrong sub-heading. New to getting a simulator system and want to build an enclosure that will be easy to move and relocate. It is going in my Hangar, named because I was going to try and build an ultralight but getting too old) and this is also my workshop. There are times where I will need to slide things around to get certain Honey Do's done. Does anyone have a plan to build a full enclosure (able to hit left and right handed) that is on casters? Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

I am going to revamp the workshop to better position the simulator so it won't have to be moved. A lot of work but I think worthwhile!

Here are some specific questions (The Hangar) as I begin the revamp of my shop today:
    • I have read too many posts about sizing and want to know the reasons for 16' versus smaller width of screen. What is the optimum dimensions for enclosure and screen and why? I do want a left and right handed person to be able to play.
    • What is the minimum dimensions for L/R enclosure and screen? (I don't want to take up all my workshop)
    • How to determine best ratio (or what determines the ratio of a system)? Some say 16:10 and some say 16:9.
    • What determines the ratio (i.e., launch monitor, software?)
    • Any other ideas and comments gladly accepted. Very new at this and want to be sure I don't screw up an investment .
