    Buy more screen than needed?

About to buy some of Carl's premium screen, and wondering if it makes sense to buy some extra width, about 4 feet. Thinking that over time as the main impact area wears, I could shift the screen. The difference in cost is about $750 to $900.

Yes, its much cheaper adding a few more feet vs buying an entire screen.

Interesting. How does one secure it though? I'm picturing wrapping it around. poles on both ends then bungeeing together behind? AS an example, if I have a 10 foot display size and a 14 foot screen, I essentially bungee them together in the ~6 feet between the two sides on the back?

CBWag I fold the excess over on one side. Then to attach the screen to the frame, i use tarp clips and adjustable ball bungees. You don't wrap the screen around the poles, that would make it like a drum and the ball will come flying back at you. You want the screen to give to absorb the impact and the ball to drop down. Getting the tension just right takes a little bit of adjusting to get it the way you like it.
