Couple questions - Carl's DIY Enclosures

Hey, guys. Heavily considering getting Carl's 5' enclosure, but wanted clarification on a couple things:

1) How easy, once set up, would it be to take down the top and sides of the enclosure for movie nights so they don't block anyone's line of sight?

2) Do the sides and top have to come out to 5' or could the EMTs for those simply be cut shorter? If #1 above can't be done easily, then going shorter on the sides may be the better option.

I really like the professional look of Carl's kit, and we're renting so standalone makes a lot of sense; I just figured I'd see how flexible the build could be made.

I have similar questions - looking at Carl's and others, but as it will be in my garage would really like the option to either fold the sides in, remove them, or push them back out of the way...

I have the 5’ enclosure and have taken it down after building it. I would not want to do it too often. I guess just taking down the front extension would be a little easier but not something I would want to do every week. The enclosure fabric is manufactured to fit on the 5’ EMT specifications. It has Velcro sleeves that fold over the EMT front and side top/bottom sections. If you cut the EMT smaller it would not fit tight. You may want to check with them to see if they can make a less than 5’ fabric spec.

I can confirm that Carls will manufacture a shallower enclosure if you ask - just send them an email with your required dimensions and they will make it to suit.
