I didn't trust anything online so I walked into a Fabricland to touch and feel the fabric before buying.

I found thick, opaque matte fabric that worked fine.
I doubt I could damage it unless I used it as an impact screen.

I don't know the actual name of the product however.

I suggest you go in person.

I'm in Canada as well and placed an order with Peaks just last week for curtains and ceiling protection. It only took a few days to arrive and we think the fabric will be excellent for stopping any errant shots. It's a very heavy fabric... rougher than I expected but it will definitely do the job.

I also did my material at Fabricland. The wife is very handy with a sewing machine so that was a big help. I also used Fabricland for my padded ceiling tiles....
