  • Tarp clips for Par2Pro Raw screen

I plan to buy the tarp clips to attach a Par2Pro Raw screen and I got to these 2 types. Anybody is using this EasyKlip model ?

    Thanks

I haven't used the EasyKlip model, but I did use something similar from Menards (locks by sliding vs. twisting):

Personally, I liked the type the tighten by screw/twist method. They were easier to install and tighten. One minor draw back I've noticed over the past 10 months of use is that I've had 2 or 3 break. I believe its due to my son hitting them with errant shots, but I haven't actually witnessed it, just found them on the ground.

The ones at Menards are only ~$1.25 a piece, so they are significantly cheaper.

Been using the easy klip for years with no issues. I got them much cheaper at local Home Depot.

I use a combination of these and ones with a twist screw.. I like the twist screw better but both work fine.

I got my clips at at Home Depot. Very inexpensive. I have the Par2Pro SQ raw and the clips work well.

Can you give me some details on your setup. Im wanting to mount the same way from the front and wrap around and bungee to the back. Hows the bounce back, what your enclosure dimensions and bungee size

I'm hitting from approx 8 ft and getting very little bounce back. Driver and long irons bounce straight down. Been using P2P SQ Raw screen. Behind impact screen I have a white king size sheet hanging attached only at top bar with tarp clips. Behind the bed sheet I have a Harbor Freight mesh tarp hanging hanging from top bar and not too taught at side bars using once again tarp clips. The P2P SQ Raw screen is attached at top and with tarp clips and wraps around sides of EMT (which have foam insulation) and attached with tarp clips to rear part of EMT frame. Want to emphasize the foam insulation on the vertical for not only protections but it also for the purposes of getting a smooth wrap around surface for the screen. Bottom of my screen hangs loose but haven't really experienced a loss if quality of image as the screen's elasticity has maintained the integrity of the picture plane. That being said my projected image doesn't extend to the very bottom of screen and I only have a 10 ft wide screen. This is probably because I project in 16:9. rather than 4:3... despite the dimensions of my screen.....personal preference.

As for bungees I use. 12" blue ball bungees and 8" red bay bungees I get at Home Depot. If need them to be more taught I wrap them around to shorten them.

              As for bounce back:

I've never used Carl's screen however there are many users on the forum who could speak to that. Very pleased with the P2P SQ Raw.
