I have about a 10'x10' space in the garage to turn into a simulator area...but I need to be able to bring my car back in easily. My plan was to create a giant "U" with an archery curtain (Probably PR-20 from West Coast Netting) on a U-shaped track mounted to the ceiling so that I could easily put the curtain away and drive back in when I'm done.
My garage has 10' ceilings. My two main questions are:
1) How much excess should I order in height so that the curtain can protect against my kid's (and mine to be honest) occasional worm-burner thin shots off the toe that never leave the ground?
2) How far from walls and other fragile things should the curtain be placed so that a ball can hit it at full speed and be stopped by the curtain before it impacts anything behind?
Thanks!
