Question for those who use the Sports Screen. After using it, would you still use the back screen that comes with it our just put the impact right on the roller and leave the Sports Screen off?

I kept the sports screen on there because eventually a ball is going to go through the impact screen and I figure having a second layer to keep it from proceeding to go through my dry wall is a good idea. I don’t really mind seeing a little bit of the screen on the edges behind the impact screen, so there wasn’t a downside to keeping it there for me.

Use the black screen. It gives you some mass to slow down the ball and also reduces deflection of the impact screen. This will help save your impact screen.
I inserted the metal pipe into the bottom sleeve of the black sportscreen. Then, placed some foam pipe insulation over this bottom fabric sleeve. The screen is programmed to stop about a half inch off the ground. When the ball hits the screen, there is slight movement, and it helps deaden the bounce back. It's quite subtle.
Par2pro's included impact screen is cut to fit and has a nice weight to it as well. The system works together.Last edited by Will; 10-27-2020, 01:45 PM.Uneekor QED / The Golf Club 2019

I will be installing tonight. Both screens just seemed really heavy to me on a 16' span. My impact screen is also 10' high and i noticed the sports screen is only 9' so im going to have around 6" in the floor

Are you saying that your impact screen wasn't sized for your sportscreen?
Par2pro included an impact screen that had velcro stitched into it's edge and sized for proper fitment.
Our ceiling height is 10' 8" and there is about 3" of blocking in place for support. The standard 16' wide sportscreen reaches the floor without issue.
