  • Side panels / curtains options

I’m looking to finish out my sim with some black siding of some sort. My main goal is to make it look nice and finished and also to reduce light bouncing off the walls. I’m not too concerned about protection.

I don’t want to use curtains that just hang. I want a cleaner look. Any ideas on what to do for the sides?

i don’t think an enclosure would work since my screen is already mounted to walls via angle irons

also, I desperately need some down tension on my screen. I’ve tried screwing some tarp clips to the carpet but they just come loose after a few hits.

    thanks

What about this? It's 6' wide by whatever length you need. You could tack it to the walls with something. It cuts easily as well if 6' comes out too far for what you want. I cut mine to the width's i needed to trim out the sides and top of the screen.https://www.menards.com/main/floorin...4430622308.htm

Nice! Do you have any photos of this setup? I'm almost tempted to just line the entire bay with this now lol walls and ceiling. Also what did you use to tack it to the walls?

docsmilez I just used it to trim out the sides and top of my screen. Since i don't have a cage and I'm not near walls, i don't have anything on the sides.

Do you have any more info on your current setup? Where's the screen from? Hows it attached? what's the netting up top?

Doc, This is what I used https://akathletics.com/collections/...tick-wall-pads. Not Cheap but added padding, clean look and very easy to install. On my left wall I only have two of the pads then I used a grey indoor outdoor carpet I purchased at home depot for $30. Just stapled to the wall. Worked great.
