Hi. New to this group. Look for some advice on which is the new impact screen to buy in the UK. I have seen video's that seem to show that standard archery screen has a sharper image and contrast to a premium type 3 sheet. I would be putting into my own frame 3.5 x 2.5 mtrs using tarp clips and bungies. So RAW material I think is best. Looking for in order of priority 1. Screen image quality 2. Excellent wear 3. Low bounce back 4. Low noise. Any pointer gratefully received as this is an expensive part of the whole setup

Thanks for that. I did look at Golf tech systems, pretty expensive. I have contacted Phil at Hybrid me, waiting for a reply. Guess my key question is if the premium screens offer any greater benefit than the archery screens in terms of image sharpness. Examples I have seen seem low definition. Like standard digital verses HD on the TV. Difficult to tell from your pictures.

I recently put a hole in my carls premium screen and started doing the screen research again in the UK. We dont seem to have many options, I tried Phil at Hybridme but got no repsonse so ended up going with Golf Tech Par2Pro raw material. Although it's expensive they seemed to be amoungst the cheapest option for a premium screen in the UK.

I’m replacing my archery screen with a Par2Pro SQ screen. They have amazingly good deals on seconds, that many have purchased and are very happy with. Even with shipping/customs it works out worth doing.
If you have an archery screen, one ridiculously cheap tweak is to put a photo screen in front of it. I’ve just done this and it really improves the image quality. No brainier for £30 from Amazon. Check out the recent thread in this sub forum for pics.

Thanks for the advise but I also want to increase the size of my screen. Difficult to make a choice when the price with inswinggolf is 370gbp and the sq screen is 1200gbp. Is the difference in price really worth it ?
you can t really tell the difference just looking at pictures.
even the good videos made by Phil from hybridme helps deciding...

The difference is quite notable but it doesn't take long for the premium screens to start showing signs of wear, even with clean clubs and new balls I found mine got marked up pretty quickly and looses a lot of it's appeal. I just got a new SQ screen but not wanting to drop £700-£800 every few years I am jumping on the photo screen idea that Ukwill mentioned. For £45 it's worth a punt if it saves my SQ for even a few months longer I will be happy.Originally posted by Patator100 View PostThanks for the advise but I also want to increase the size of my screen. I have also ordered a superknit screen from protee a double sided screen with inbuilt blackout layer. Apparently the superknit is similar to an archery baffle but with a closer knit weave for better image quality.
I have been told it should only be around a 7 day wait.

2wheeler Great, once you get it, can you let know how it is once you get it. I m in touch with Jamie goodhall - very good guy btw, and he s recommending me this screen. He can also offer a sharper screen (more expensive) but for the difference of price, he recommends this particular screen that has a blackout layer.
