  • Impact screen wear quickly

I have a Carl's preferred impact screen that I just set up a couple of weeks ago. Using brand new golf balls for a session or two before they go to the real course. So maybe 8-10 sessions on this screen. I have noticed some pretty frightening early wear on it and I emailed this picture to Carl's who says this is typical wear as a preferred screen breaks in. Do others see wear like this and is this OK or are they pulling my leg?

I wonder if the Premium screen is any better? I wouldn't be happy with that.

I have a Carl’s screen, that I’ve had for about a month, and have some marks on it and a few dimples, but not like yours. I wonder if I have the premium brand? Not sure. But yeah that seems pretty excessive wear and tear for only two weeks

That is definitely extreme. I think I remember reading something about Carl's screens and it not being clear which side is the "front". Are we sure it is facing the correct way?

Might be misremembering but figured it was worth a mention.
