Dark out curtains vs 16 mil Tarp or something else for top and sides?

Right now I am not sure what to pick for the sides and top. Dark out curtains vs 16 mil Tarp or something else for top and sides? What do you suggest? Is there anything else that is better for reducing noise but not too expensive? My budget for this is $300.

Hard to say as it is not obvious what your application is but I used a combination of acoustic tiles (ceiling and beside the screen on Screen wall) and carpet tiles on the side walls. I do also have netting on the ceiling and along the sides of the screen. Acoustic tiles and carpet tiles were ordered off of amazon within your budget. Netting would be more.

Polar fleece fabric from Joanns. I use it and works great. If you hit the side curtain the fabric absorbs the energy and the ball drops straight down. Happy to provide more information if interested.

There are so many choices. Could you please show me the exact fleece fabric that you picked? I prefer a dark color like black.
