Metal vs wood enclosure framing

Is it best to build it all out of wood or metal? I wanted to build a enclosure with the black walls is it best to use wood and wrapped with cloth or to use metal and wrap that with a net and cloth

Prefer 1" EMT with foam insulation. Easy to get the fittings. Carl's sells them.

Ok and what’s the smallest frame I can make to fit a 9x12 screen size

i got 112 to work with is this possible

You're all over the place with your threads lol. 112 inches is fine. That leaves you 4 inches from the top bar of the enclosure to the screen. The bottom of the screen can then sit flush against the floor. Use EMT, not wood.

Sorry man losing my mind here I’ve got to pick everything tomorrow so I was just trying to figure this out And I’m blowing up the forms in the process as you can see

The 112 would have to include the frame so if the frame is 1 inch low and 1 inch high then I’m left with 110 for the screen and I’m not sure how that works with the way fastens To the enclosure

What do people use to fasten the screen to the enclosure like the enclosure could I add hooks to it and then use bungees to connect the hook to the hole in the tarp if that works I can just screw those eye hooks into the subfloor and save 1 inch there

I have about 12 inches - 4 inches seems really tight to me, but that’s just my opinion.
